Foreign delegates of the rotary club conducted a courtesy call to the office of Vice Mayor Ronnie in their recent visit to Roxas City. Vice Mayor Dadivas is incidentally a Rotary Club member himself where he was picked as a recipient of a Rotary Club Exchange Program to learn how Governance and urban planning is done in other countries.

WVRAA 2013 in Roxas City
The West Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) 2013 Meet has lately been hosted in Roxas City. The first day of this sports event composed of schools all over the West Visayas Region was started with a parade of contesting schools vying for the position of Regional WVRAA Champion of West Visayas. Joining the parade were Mayor Alan Celino and Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas together with other city government officials and our very own Capiz delegates. Pictured above is Vice Mayor Dadivas (third from the right, second row) with our Capiz Basketball Delegates, the sport being the favorite of the Vice Mayor himself.

Capiztahan 2013 update as of February 07, 2013. The Government and Private Sector Capiztahan Planning Conference on new and exciting events for the festivities. Ideas on the festivities and cultural aspects were tossed to picture out a beautiful Capiz and Roxas City. Every person on the said meeting expressed keen interest in contributing to improve Capiztahan 2013 as one of the tourist destinations for both domestic and international tourists.

held at the Panubli-on Museum on January 28, 2013. Government officials, from
the Provincial Capitol and Roxas City Hall are the important guest from the

Capiztahan 2013 Meeting
The office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod conducted a meeting about the coming festive
event in Roxas City and Province of Capiz together with United CapizeƱos, Inc.(One
Capiz )and Local Government Units of Capiz and Roxas City. The Meeting of the
said event was headed by Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, being the Chairman of the
Tourism Committee; Mrs. Melanie Arancillo, Executive Director, United
CapizeƱos, Inc. and Mr. Jose Nery Ong,
Vice Chair for Capiztahan Organizing Committee. The conference entailed almost
4 hours of discussion on how to make Capiztahan
2013 more exciting and eventful which will leave a lasting impression to local
and foreign tourists in the event.
