5th Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod

Highlighting this session were the Quarterly Accomplishments of the Economic Enterprise projects of the city namely 1) Teodoro Arcenas Trade Center, 2)Slaughterhouse, 3) Libas Fishing Port were reported respectively by their supervisors.

4th Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod

With Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas on official leave, Hon. Erwin B. Sicad was designated OIC Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer during this session. Requests for SP approval from the office of the City Mayor for Memoranda of Agreements between the city and national line agencies were received and laid aside for further study. 

Budgets of several barangays were also presented for approval   by the City Council and were likewise subject to further study.

3rd Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod

In the 3rd Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod this July 16, 2013 important measures were discussed and approved:


1.) Quarterly Accomplishment Report of the City Health Officer,  covering the period  April 1 – June 30, 2013. Reported by Amelita Robles, M.D.

2.) Quarterly Accomplishment Report of the Chief of Police, covering the period April 1 – June 30, 2013.  Reported by Police Supt. Orlando Colisao, RCPS

3.) Letter dated 05  July 2013  of  the  City  Mayor,  requesting  for  the  passage  of  legislative  resolution  concurring  the  appointments  of  Atty.  Joseph  Ador  A.  Ramos  as City  Legal  Officer  and  Gilbert  Tan  as  Actg.  City  Administrator,  respectively,  in  accordance  with  the  provison  of  RA  7160  (a),  otherwise  known  as   the  Local  Government  Code  of  1991.

 4.)   Renewal  of  the  designation  and  authorization  of  Hon.  Angel  Alan  B.  Celino,  City  Mayor,  Hon.  Ronnie  T.  Dadivas,  Vice  Mayor,  Hon. Erwin  B.  Sicad,  SP Member,  Mr.  Gilbert  G.  Tan,  Actg.  City  Administrator,  Mr. Joselito  R.  Almodiente,  City  Treasurer  and  Ms.  Mimi  B.  Riano,  Assistant  City  Treasurer  as  official  signatories  to  the  Government's  various  accounts  with  the  Development  Bank  of  the  Philippines  and  Land  Bank  of  the  Philippines.

5.)   Quarterly  Accomplishment  Report  of  City  Assessor,  covering  the  period  April 1 - June 30, 2013.  Reported  by  Mr. Samuel  Narciso.

6.)   Quarterly  Accomplishment  Report  of  the  City  Enginner,  covering  the  period  April 1  -  June 30, 2013.  Reported  by  Engr.  Rosario  Anisco.

7.)   Letter  dated  08  July  2013  of  the  City  Mayor,  requesting  for  the  representative  of  the  Sangguniang  Panlungsod  to  the  Solid  Waste  and  Management  Board,  with  preference  for  the  Chairperson  of  the  Committee  on  Environment  or  Committee  on  Health.
