Vice Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas supports the President Manuel Roxas Memorial School SPED Program

Of special concern to Vice Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas is the plight of the education of special children with disabilities. His first exposure to these children some four years ago has led him to give his support and concern to their education. He believes their special training training needs should be recongnized so they will become socially active persons in our society.

Since then, he has lent his support for the education of these children through networking with non-government and civic organizations to help the SPED School upgrade its teaching facilities through donations. Most notable of the donor come from Feed the Hungry Inc., a non-government organization of Filipinos and Americans who have pooled their resources to make difference.

The group has given to the SPED school a Braille machine, two nebulizers, and an assortment of school aids of special children. To top it all up, recently, in collaboration with another group, the Roxas City Filipino - Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the construction of a two-classroom school building cum mini auditorium has come to fruition and will be completed by this May 2012.
